Equipment availability is checked before a surgery is booked. Consumables are tracked per case. Instrument sets are verified against the checklist before the patient enters the OT. Nothing is discovered missing mid-procedure.
When scheduling a procedure, ZenoHosp checks whether the required equipment — laparoscopy tower, C-arm, cardiac bypass machine — is available and not under maintenance. Equipment booked for another case is shown as unavailable. Maintenance windows are blocked in the calendar.
Sutures, surgical pads, IV cannulas, gloves, drapes — consumables used per case are recorded in ZenoHosp. Quantities are deducted from the OT store inventory in real time. Month-end stock counts match because every usage was recorded during the case.
Instrument sets are configured in ZenoHosp — each tray has a defined item list. Before surgery, the scrub nurse checks items off against the configured set. After surgery, the count is verified again. Missing instruments are flagged before the patient leaves the OT.
"We had a laparoscopy case where the camera head wasn't sterilised. We caught it during the pre-OT equipment check — not in the middle of the procedure. That's what ZenoHosp changed for us."
Every capability — built for Indian hospital workflows.
When scheduling a procedure that requires specific equipment, ZenoHosp checks if that equipment is already booked in another OT for the same time. Conflicts are flagged before the booking is confirmed.
Yes. When consumable usage is recorded for a case, the quantities are deducted from the OT store in the Inventory module automatically. No separate stock entry is needed.
