ZenoHosp connects to your existing lab analysers via HL7 and ASTM protocols. Sample IDs are sent to the analyser. Results are received and posted directly to the patient's record — no manual result transcription. Turnaround time drops by up to 89%.
When a sample is collected and registered in ZenoHosp, the sample barcode and test order are sent to the connected analyser via the bidirectional interface. The analyser processes the sample. When analysis is complete, results are sent back to ZenoHosp and posted to the patient's record — no manual entry at any step.
ZenoHosp's lab interface supports HL7 (LIS-2) and ASTM protocols, which cover the majority of analysers used in Indian hospitals. Haematology, biochemistry, immunology, and microbiology analysers from major manufacturers are supported. Both unidirectional and bidirectional modes are available.
The lab dashboard shows the connection status of every integrated analyser — Connected, Calibrating, Error, or Disconnected. If an analyser loses connection, an alert is generated immediately. Daily result counts per analyser are tracked for workload analysis.
"Before ZenoHosp, technicians manually typed results from the analyser printout. Transcription errors were a regular problem. Since integration, results flow directly. We've had zero transcription errors in 8 months."
Every capability — built for Indian hospital workflows.
ZenoHosp supports HL7 and ASTM protocols, covering Sysmex, Roche Cobas, Mindray, Abbott Architect, and BioMérieux Vitek 2, among others. For specific model compatibility, contact our lab integration team.
With bidirectional integration, results are transmitted electronically from the analyser to ZenoHosp. There is no manual transcription of values. The technician reviews the electronically received result and confirms — no typing involved.
Yes. For analysers that support only result transmission (not order receipt), ZenoHosp supports unidirectional integration. Results are received and posted automatically; orders are entered manually on the analyser side.
