Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
At a glance, the dashboard provides a high-level summary of your inventory health:
- Total Products: The number of distinct active items registered in the Item Master (e.g., Paracetamol, Syringes, Patient Monitors).
- Low Stock Items: Immediately identifies items that have fallen below their configured Minimum Reorder Level and urgently require a Purchase Order.
- Total Transactions: The volume of stock movement (GRN receipts, departmental consumption, stock adjustments) recorded in the last 24 hours.
- System Status: Displays the operational status of the inventory server and database sync.
Critical Stock Alerts
This section is crucial for preventing stock-outs of life-saving equipment and medicines. It lists the specific product names, their current stock across the hospital, their configured Minimum Level, and provides a quick-action button (+ Log Stock) to manually adjust the inventory if a physical audit discovers unrecorded stock.
Recent Transactions
A live ledger showing every inventory action as it happens in real-time. It displays:
- Type: The nature of the movement (e.g., ACTIVITY, RECEIPT, CONSUMPTION).
- Product & Qty: The specific item and whether stock was added (+ positive) or removed (- negative).
- User & Timestamp: A strict audit trail showing exactly which logged-in user executed the transaction and at what precise moment.
