Health Checkups

Create and manage preventive health checkup packages for patients and corporate clients.

Package Configuration

Hospitals often bundle various lab tests, radiology scans, and specialist consultations into "Master Health Checkups". Instead of billing these individually, you create a Package.

Creating a New Package

  1. Navigate to Health Checkups and click Create Package.
  2. Give the package a name (e.g., "Comprehensive Cardiac Care").
  3. Add the required components by searching the Services and Lab modules (e.g., Lipid Profile Test, ECG, Cardiologist Consult).
  4. Set a fixed bundled price for the entire package. This price overrides the sum of the individual component prices.

Booking and Execution

When a patient purchases a checkup package, the HMS orchestration engine kicks in:

  • It automatically generates the single invoice for the package price.
  • It sends the lab test orders to the LIS (Lab Information System).
  • It creates pending appointments for the necessary doctors (e.g., a General Physician and a Cardiologist).

This allows the patient to seamlessly walk from the Billing desk, to the Phlebotomy lab, and then to the doctor's cabin without needing additional paperwork.

Corporate Bookings

If your hospital has contracts with local corporations for annual employee health checkups, you can configure B2B Packages.

Instead of billing the patient (employee) at the front desk, the system will accumulate the checkup records and generate a consolidated invoice sent directly to the Corporate HR department at the end of the month.
