Role of Vendors in Assets

Unlike Inventory vendors (who supply consumable stock), Asset vendors generally fall into two categories:

• OEMs/Suppliers: The original manufacturers or distributors who sold the equipment to the hospital.
• Service Contractors: Third-party companies hired specifically to provide AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) or repair services.

Vendor Profiles

When you create a vendor, ensure you capture their Support Email and Emergency Contact Number. If a critical asset like a ventilator breaks down, the system can quickly surface these contact details directly from the maintenance ticket.
