Logging a Breakdown

When a piece of equipment fails in a ward, staff can immediately log a maintenance ticket.

1. Navigate to Maintenance and click + Log Issue.
2. Select the specific Asset Code. The system will automatically check if the item is currently covered by a Warranty or AMC.
3. Enter the nature of the breakdown.
4. The asset's status is automatically changed to "Out of Order" across the system, alerting other staff not to rely on it.

Preventative Maintenance

You can schedule recurring check-ups (e.g., quarterly calibration for an X-Ray machine). The system will automatically generate pending maintenance tasks when the date approaches, ensuring compliance with hospital accreditation standards.
