Batch Management

Every drug in ZenoPharmacy is tracked at the **Batch Level**. This means if you receive two shipments of Paracetamol 500mg, they are tracked as separate line items with their respective manufacturing dates, expiry dates, and MRPs.

Restocking from Main Inventory

The Pharmacy operates as a "Sub-Store" in the broader ZenoHosp ecosystem. When a drug hits the "Low Stock" threshold, you cannot purchase it directly from a vendor here. Instead, you raise an **Indent Request** to the Main Hospital Store (managed via the Inventory module). Once they issue the stock, you must "Acknowledge Receipt" to add the items to your local Pharmacy stock.

Physical Stock Reconciliation

Periodically, the physical count of medicines on the shelves might mismatch with the digital count (due to breakage, theft, or data entry errors). Use the "Reconcile" function to perform an audit and adjust the digital numbers to match reality. This will log an adjustment entry for the finance team.
