Block Booking Strategy

OT Managers use the Schedules view to allocate specific time blocks to different surgical departments. For example, "OT-1" might be blocked exclusively for Orthopedics on Monday mornings, and General Surgery on Monday afternoons. This ensures equitable access to surgical facilities.

Conflict Resolution

The scheduling engine automatically flags conflicts. If a surgeon attempts to book a case that overlaps with an existing booking in the same room, or if the surgeon themselves is double-booked across two different theatres, the system will highlight the collision in red on the calendar.

Drag-and-Drop Reallocation

If a surgery runs long (overtime) or finishes early, the OT Manager can simply click and drag subsequent cases on the calendar to delay them or move them to a different available theatre, instantly notifying the assigned surgical teams via the ZenoHosp mobile app.
